These Terms of Service govern your use of the Z-Nomads mobile application (the “App”), operated by Freddy Builds (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. What Z-Nomads is
Z-Nomads is a travel companion app that helps you plan trips, search for flights, get AI-generated travel guidance (border requirements, destination suggestions, packing intelligence), and keep your trip information organized. Some features require an internet connection; some require an active subscription.
2. Subscription (Z-Nomads Pro)
- Z-Nomads Pro unlocks unlimited AI features and is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
- New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your payment method is charged.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Manage or cancel anytime: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Payment is processed by Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard App Store refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App. We may change subscription prices in the future; any change will be communicated in advance and will not affect your current billing period.
3. AI-generated content — use with judgment
Z-Nomads uses AI (Anthropic’s Claude) to generate travel guidance including border briefings, visa overviews, destination suggestions, and packing intelligence. This content is informational, not authoritative.
- Visa, customs, and entry rules change frequently and vary by nationality. Always verify with the destination country’s official immigration website or your nearest consulate before traveling.
- Flight prices are queried in real time from third-party sources (Google Flights via SerpAPI, Travelpayouts). Prices can change between the moment you see them in the app and the moment you book. We do not sell or book flights; you book directly with the airline or an OTA.
- AI can make mistakes. Treat its output the way you would treat travel advice from a knowledgeable friend — useful starting point, not a guarantee.
We are not liable for travel decisions you make based on AI output or flight prices shown in the App.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to do anything illegal under the laws that apply to you.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the App’s source code or API keys.
- Use automated systems to scrape data, abuse the AI features, or generate excessive API requests in a way that interferes with normal operation for other users.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App or its content.
5. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (listed in our Privacy Policy) including Anthropic, SerpAPI, Duffel, Travelpayouts, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, and the Apple App Store. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes by those services.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, the Z-Nomads name, and the Z mark logo are owned by Freddy Builds. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own travel planning. All other rights are reserved.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freddy Builds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or travel disruptions, arising from your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the App (subscription fees) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the App in a way that risks harm to other users or to the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via the Last updated date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Belgium, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
